On Feb 5, 2019 the Mayor of Tucson and the city Council appointed Udall Law Firm attorney Melissa (Mimi) Noshay-Petro to the Tucson Industrial Development Authority, a nonprofit organization that manages public funds to enhance the region’s quality of life through economic development, affordable housing, and downtown, neighborhood, and community development. Among other things, it provides loans for community and economic development projects, including local businesses, and runs home-buyer assistance programs to support affordable housing.
