Bret S. Shaw graduated with high honors from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law in May 2014 and was admitted to practice law in Arizona later that year. During law school, Mr. Shaw committed to helping those in need of legal help through a clerkship with Southern Arizona Legal Aid’s Volunteer Lawyers Program.

Representative Matters:

• Successfully defended to defense verdict insurance company against multi-claim UM/UIM bad faith insurance claim.
• Successfully defended to defense verdict via summary judgement claim against dog owners from injury sustained in dog park.
• Negotiated sales contracts and lien waivers in real property transactions involving past-due leases.
• Successfully defended to advantageous settlement dispute between client and HOA regarding home construction.
• Successfully defended by motion to dismiss national and preeminent local engineering firms in bad faith cases.
• Successfully defended multiple state licensees against complaints to licensing boards.
• Successfully defended environmental services company in suit against transportation provider.
• Successfully defended engineering firm in arbitration with major real estate developer related to construction defects.
• Successfully defended to advantageous settlement revocation proceedings against medical marijuana dispensary.
